Bojutsu (a little more)

Make sure for gedan and kote haneage that the elbow of the lead arm is inside the thigh, not outside, nor on top. This can save some bruising.
For Ashibarai, punch the back hand into your chest to create maximum impact. Keep lead elbow in tight and think of attaching it to your hip to derive as much power as possible from your legs and core.
For Jodan Uke, shoot lead arm up straight ala "Che Guevara: Revolucion para siempre". The rear hand spears up to the lead hand (don't worry about bumping) and the whole forearm gets under the bo to protect.
